Nasser Baker - Tribes of the Metronome

 

We’ve been holding on to this one for a while, and we’re ecstatic to finally unleash Nasser Baker’s “Tribes of the Metronome” EP to the world. This talented young artist has been mentored by one of the greats, Dennis Ferrer, and the level of character in these tracks show that he’s been in good hands.

The title single’s stuttering bassline and simple vocals is an example of how to have maximum impact without being overproduced. The flip side, “About You” is a tech house track with a house music feel - dirty bass and a playful lead line, accented by a straightforward phrase that proves effective.
