Our Story

Dirtybird started as an underground record label in 2005, but the history of the logo began for Claude VonStroke in middle school, where he was drawing silly birds in hopes of making his brother and sister laugh. The first Dirtybird logo you see here was sketched by Claude on a napkin and he has continued championing and collecting lowbrow surrealist artwork ever since. Since 2012 the record label has worked with world famous artists in residence such as Jeremy Fish, Dulk, Raoul Deleo, Dan May, Charlie Immer, Graham Carter, Felicia Chiao, Chema Mendez, and Birdcap.

With a true love for NFTs, Dirtybird Flight Club is uniquely positioned for this space. Unlike other projects, Dirtybird has the capacity to tap into its 16 year old IRL clothing, events and music companies to offer incredible value to its token holders. For some examples of what is to come, token holders will be able to win real festival tickets to Dirtybird Campout, Dirtybird CampINN and Dirtybird BBQs; including new original events and meet-ups for members only. Exclusive music and other incredible perks will be announced over the next few months.

What is Dirtybird Flight Club?

DFC is a collection of 9090 unique bird NFTs on the Ethereum Blockchain. Based on the original hand drawn logo by Claude VonStroke, each bird element has been brought to life by renowned pop-surrealist, Birdcap.

NFT?

NFT stands for “Non-Fungible Token,” which means that it’s a unique, digital item managed by the blockchain with the ability to buy/sell/trade. While many NFTs are purely digital art, DFC is a social token that offers you exclusive benefits and access to the flock. Think of this token as your membership to the club.

How Do I NFT like a pro?

Don’t feel bad if you don’t know! If you are reading this you are still early.

1. Download the metamask.io extension for the Chrome/Brave browser or app on mobile. This will allow you to make purchases with Ethereum and can be found in the extensions tab. If you are on mobile, you must use the Metamask App Browser
2. You can purchase Ethereum through your Metamask Wallet using Wyre ($500 daily max) or send ethereum from an exchange (We recommend Coinbase).
3. Click “Connect Wallet” at the top of our page and connect your Metamask. Once connected you will be able to purchase your birds through the mint section. You will be prompted to sign your transaction and please keep gas fees in mind.
4. Once your transaction is confirmed on Metamask you have completed your purchase and your Birds will be visible in your wallet and on OpenSea.
