After a year filled with lots of collaborations and remixes, Claude VonStroke drops his solo EP, “Slink.” The track features a twisted, funky double bassline highlighted by a catchy original vocal that sounds like it could have come from an 80s female rapper.
On the flip side, the after-hours anthem, “Please Oh Please Oh Please”is a rolling techno burner with inventive percussion and sound design. The breakdown features a very strange conversation with the crowd about what they will receive on the night for their participation.
