BBC Inside Out Yorks & Lincs visits the UK’s longest-running club night - Back to Basics in Leeds. Back to Basics has always been the biggest night out in Leeds with clubbers coming from all over the country to enjoy its legendary DJ nights.
The first ever Back to Basics was held at The Music Factory in Leeds on 23 November 1991. Originally set up by Dave Beer and Alistair Cooke, the club has since had a number of different homes including The Pleasure Rooms, Mint, Rehab, Stinky and Music Factory.
The club also hosts successful nights across the UK and Europe.
